The purpose of the event was to determine the users, companies or persons, to become aware of the obvious threat in the operation or the administration of the computer systems, to realize that acquiring a punctual security solution is not enough to solve such menaces and that there are competencies in Romania that can provide the complete security of their networks.

The conference audience consisted of representatives of the private and governmental environment. A special guest of the event was Mr. Zsolt Nagy – The Minister of Communications and Information Technology. Other participants present in the audience were Mr. William Schmidt - Artel Inc. SUA; Mr. John Mennel, Senior IT Advisor, Mr. Booz Allen Hamilton; Mr. Sorin Greceanu – Romanian-German Trade Chamber; Mr. Calin Mihai Rangu, IT Director - Raiffeisen Bank and Mr. Ioan Cordoş - Business Development Director – UTI. Mr. Eugen Preotu, Minister Nagy Adviser moderated the Conference.

The topics of the conference approached the national and international actual law framing, the completion and harmonization of the legislation in the field under the aspect of the fight against the on-line criminality, the electronic administration, the computerization of the public administration, the computerized system for fees and taxes collection, as interoperable with the European one, and the assistance and control integrated system.
