MCTI acknowledges certSIGN, the first 100% Romanian certification services provider

Rezumat:

certSIGN®, a Certification Services Provider, passed the audit procedure and obtained the quality of Acknowledged Provider of Qualified Certification Services from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCTI), according to the provisions of the Law no. 455/2001 on the electronic signature. This acknowledgement proves the observation of the European and international norms related to certification services providing and the high level of security of the computer system issuing the qualified certificates. Thus, the qualified digital certificates issued by certSIGN® offer the highest degree of trust and its use is considerably simplified. Therefore, all the holders of qualified digital certificates issued by certSIGN are now able to use them to apply extended electronic signatures on documents and on-line transactions, implicitly giving them a legal value.
