In the global context towards the digital transformation of as many operations as possible and the migration of employees to work from home, changes are also observed on the Romanian business scene.<\/p>

This year, Law no. 208\/2021 adopting GEO36 \/ 2021 on the use of electronic signatures for documents related to labor relations was promulgated, more and more companies choosing to replace the physical documents used in contractual relations with their employees, with electronic ones.<\/p>

One of the Romanian companies that made this decision is Betfair Romania Development<\/strong><\/a>, a center of excellence in software and security services with over 1.000 employees in Cluj-Napoca. The company wanted a modern, efficient and safe solution, in order to continue carrying out the activity under the conditions imposed by law, taking into account the restrictions imposed by the pandemic. These are the main reasons why they chose to implement the qualified remote electronic signature provided by certSIGN.<\/p>
