Requirements:
- Secondary or higher education
- Job specific trainings/certifications: archival restorer diploma – mandatory requirement
- Work experience: minimum 1 year in similar activities. Experience in archiving projects is an advantage
- Ability to deliver quality work with the achievement of performance in repetitive work
- Ability to operate software applications as well as scanning and photocopying equipment
- Ability to follow specific regulations and procedures
- Keen attention to detail
- Cooperation and teamwork skills
- Conscientious, rigorous, kind, calm, flexible, self-reliant person
- Computer skills: MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook; Internet
- English language skills – beginner level.
Responsibilities:
Activities specific to the document restoration process:
- Activities related to physical condition analysis
- Execution of pre-restoration document photographs
- Restoration of the book/document body
- Bookbinding restoration
- Executing document photographs after restoration
- Confirmation of the correctness of interventions in the restoration file
- Activities related to document use
- Activities related to ensuring document storage conditions
- Other specific activities.
