certSIGN makes available to you a solution to verify rapidly the certificates status, for you not to consume time checking manually lists of revoked certificates (CRL –Certificate Revocation List).

certSAFE®OCSP grounds on the OCSP protocol (Online Certificate Status Protocol) a last generation technology, destined to the services associated to the digital certificates use.

The certSAFE®OCSP module guarantees the OCSP mechanisms implementation in compliance with the RFC 2560 actual standard. OCSP receiver interrogates the directors’ server (LDAP) in order to undertake the updated certificate lists and to determine the status of the certificate signature.

The process of checking the certificates status is being run rapidly without user’s efforts. The answer may be "valid", "revoked" or "unknown".
