In order to run the current activities and to access on-line services as granted by the partner agencies, the notary activities rely more and more on using the information systems.

In order to have safe communications between the notary offices, clients and partners, certSIGN offers two types of solutions:

Workstations protection

The solution designed to protect the workstations consists of the shellSAFE^® suite and the smartcard device having stored on it the following:

a qualified certificate;
a trusted encryption certificate.

You have the guarantee of confidentiality, authenticity and integrity for the information stored. The qualified certificate may be used to create extended electronic signatures anytime needed.

Supply of services according to the Law no. 589/2004

The solution designed to perform services in accordance with the law on the notary electronic activity consists of the shellSAFE^® suite and the smartcard device having stored on it the following:

a qualified certificate;
a trusted encryption certificate;
the access to the time stamping service of certSIGN®

Within the shellSAFE suite one can distinguish the Secure Viewer component, which guarantees that the image of the document displayed on the screen meets its format as saved on the hard disk. This component transposes the documents to a safe format so that any outsider cannot interfere to modify it, before the signing moment.

certSIGN also offers, besides the solutions as described, consulting services aimed to help the notary offices to implement or improve their informational system as used, in order to meet the security requirements and the good practice.
