Access to the token is based on a PIN code. The code is printed in the letter received from certSIGN (see example here).
For security reasons, it is recommended that you change the PIN code as soon as you receive the device by following the steps below.
1. Connect the Athena device to your computer.
2. Access the Manager token application using the shortcut created on the desktop after installation.
3. In the IDProtect Manager window, click Pin and Manage.
4. In the window that appears, select Change from PIN line.
5. Enter the current password of the device (the one in the letter received from certSIGN), in the Current User PIN field and the new password, which must meet the requirements of a complex password (minimum 6 characters) in the New User PIN and Confirm new PIN fields and then click Change.
6. In the next window, click the OK button.
