Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical/IT-related field
- CCNA certification or equivalent; CCNP Enterprise and/or Fortinet NSE certification, or equivalent experience, is considered an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of switching and routing protocols, including BGP, IPsec, RADIUS, and SNMP
- Experience in configuring Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), such as Forcepoint, FortiGate, or similar solutions, as well as Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Experience in configuring and administering FortiNAC (Network Access Control) and FortiClient EMS (Endpoint Management Server)
- Experience in configuring Cisco switches and routers
- General knowledge of network management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and security
- Knowledge of regular expressions (regex), Linux CLI, and Windows batch/CMD
- Experience in configuring SSL VPN and IPsec VPN, IDS/IPS, Load
- Balancing (Layer 4 and Layer 7), static and dynamic routing, Spanning Tree, IEEE 802.1X, VLANs, and IEEE 802.3ad
- General knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, DNS Server, RADIUS Server, and DHCP Server.
Responsibilities:
- Permanent monitoring of the network infrastructure
- Maintain the local network infrastructure (hardware and software)
- Document network testing activities and infrastructure changes
- Keep technical documentation and operational procedures up to date
- Test and configure Cisco switches, FortiGate/Forcepoint firewalls, FortiNAC, FortiClient EMS, and other networking technologies as required
- Test and configure network services
- Monitor daily alerts generated by the network infrastructure
- Track, resolve, and/or escalate support tickets through the ticketing system
- Implement configuration changes on production firewalls (access control rules, static routes, SSL VPN access, IPsec VPN tunnels)
- Implement configuration changes on production switches and routers
- Travel to company locations, when required, to maintain communication equipment
- Propose technical solutions for implementation within the network infrastructure
- Monitor the availability of patches and new network operating system releases
- Ensure compliance with network equipment configuration and documentation standards
- Collaborate with system administrators to resolve issues affecting the IT infrastructure
- Report network incidents and failures to the IT Manager.
