SafeNet. Changing the PIN code on MacOS

Access to the token is based on a PIN code. The code is printed in the letter received from certSIGN (see example here).

For security reasons, it is recommended that you change the PIN code as soon as you receive the device by following the steps below.

1. Connect the SafeNet device to your computer.

2. Click on the SafeNet icon in the notification bar and then click on the Change Token Password button.

3. In the Current Token Password field, enter the current device password (the one in the letter received from certSIGN).

4. Type the new password, which must meet the requirements of a complex password (minimum 6 characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters) in the New Token Password and Confirm New Token Password fields, then click the OK button.

5. In the next window click on the OK button.
