Using the certificate for electronic signature in Forexebug and PatrimVen platforms

Forexebug and PatrimVen platforms

The qualified digital certificate for electronic signature can also be used in the Forexebug (portal of the Ministry of Finance for electronic reporting of financial statements related to patrimonial and budgetary accounting), respectively PatrimVen platforms (ANAF service for public institutions – access to available data on citizens’ assets and revenues).

In the case of both platforms (Forexebug and PatrimVen), the registration of a new or renewed certificate can be done after exporting the certificate in .cer format, following the steps below.

Exporting the digital certificate in .cer format

NOTE: The certificate can only be exported if it is installed on the computer you are using.
1. Go to run or search bar and type inetcpl.cpl to open internet options.
2. From the window that opens, select the Content tab and click the Certificates button.
3. From the next window, select the digital certificate you want to export and click the Export… button. If you have multiple certificates, select the one issued by certSIGN Qualified CA.
4. In the window that opens, click the Next button. Do the same in the next two windows.
5. In the File name field, type the name of the exported certificate and click the Browse … button (you can also use a first name in the form First Name-Last Name).
6. From the window that appears on the screen, select the location on your computer where the certificate will be exported and click Save.
7. The certificate in .cer format will be available at the location you chose in the previous step.
